These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Chamonix Accommodation website and services. By submitting a booking request or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Chamonix Accommodation is a platform that connects guests with property owners offering seasonal accommodation stays (typically one to five months) in the Chamonix Valley.

Chamonix Accommodation acts solely as an introduction and marketing platform.

2. Our Role

2.1 Chamonix Accommodation is not the owner, landlord, or manager of any property listed on the website.

2.2 We do not own, control, or manage the properties advertised.

2.3 Any agreement for accommodation is made directly between the guest and the property owner.

3. Booking Requests

3.1 Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed booking.

3.2 All booking requests are subject to availability and owner approval.

3.3 The property owner has the right to accept or decline any booking request.

4. Licence Agreement (Not a Tenancy)

4.1 All stays arranged through the platform are intended as temporary seasonal stays.

4.2 Guests will typically enter into a Licence to Occupy Agreement with the property owner.

4.3 These arrangements are not tenancy agreements and do not grant security of tenure.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment terms will be agreed directly between the guest and the property owner unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Chamonix Accommodation may facilitate introductions but is not responsible for collecting or holding payments unless explicitly agreed.

5.3 Failure to make payments may result in cancellation of the booking.

6. Cancellations & Changes

6.1 Cancellation terms are set by the individual property owner.

6.2 Chamonix Accommodation is not responsible for:

• cancellations made by owners

• cancellations made by guests

• any resulting losses or costs

6.3 Guests should confirm cancellation policies directly with the owner before booking.

7. Property Information

7.1 Property descriptions, images, and details are provided by property owners.

7.2 While we aim to ensure accuracy, Chamonix Accommodation does not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, or up to date.

8. Use of the Property

8.1 Guests agree to use the property responsibly and in accordance with the terms set by the property owner.

8.2 Guests must comply with all house rules and local regulations.

9. Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chamonix Accommodation is not liable for:

• the condition of any property

• any injury, loss, or damage occurring during a stay

• disputes between guests and property owners

• errors or omissions in property listings

9.2 All risks associated with the stay are accepted by the guest.

10. Insurance

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance and personal cover where appropriate.

11. Website Use

11.1 You agree to use the website for lawful purposes only.

11.2 You must not misuse the website or attempt to gain unauthorised access.

12. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

Chamonix Accommodation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in France.
